Marketing, Membership & Events Manager

Chronogram Media | Kingston, NY (Hybrid)
Salary 50-55k

Chronogram Media is hiring a Marketing, Membership & Events Manager to help shape how our brand shows up in the world—through events, campaigns, and creative partnerships that connect culture and community.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who loves both big-picture thinking and making things happen. You’ll collaborate across editorial, sales, and leadership to grow audiences, build engagement, and support revenue through meaningful experiences and smart marketing.

We’ve recently launched the Chronogram Foundation, creating new opportunities to deepen community connection and expand our impact. This role will help grow membership and engagement as part of that next chapter.

What You’ll Do

Lead Events & Experiences
Own signature Chronogram events from concept through execution (Readers’ Choice, talks, live experiences). Manage logistics, vendors, sponsors, ticketing, and on-site production.

Run Integrated Marketing Campaigns
Plan and execute campaigns across email, social, web, and paid social. Partner with editorial and leadership on messaging, launches, and promotions that drive engagement and growth.

Grow Audience & Digital Presence
Manage ChronogramMedia.com, email marketing, social channels, and subscription flows. Support audience engagement and occasional content creation.

Build Partnerships & Collaborations
Develop sponsorships, partnerships, and creative collaborations. Coordinate deliverables and keep projects moving across internal and external teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years in marketing, events, or campaign management
  • Strong project management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Creative thinker who is also highly organized and execution-focused
  • Experience with email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), social media, CMS tools, Canva, and Google Workspace
  • Bonus: Adobe Creative Suite, basic HTML knowledge, media/advertising, or content-driven brand experience

Why This Role Matters

You won’t just be supporting campaigns—you’ll be shaping how people experience Chronogram in real life and online. From live events to digital engagement to growing membership through the Chronogram Foundation, your work will directly impact how our community grows and connects.

Who Thrives Here

  • Someone who moves fast and follows through
  • A strong collaborator who can work across teams and personalities
  • A creative problem-solver who enjoys building things from scratch
  • Someone energized by media, culture, and community
